OVER TWO DECADES OF CUSTOM APPAREL
My journey into screen printing began at the end of 2003 with a simple goal: to make a few shirts for friends. What started as a hobby quickly grew into creating apparel for local businesses, events, and organizations. Along the way, I discovered two things—a passion for design and an obsession with understanding every part of the printing process.
Back then, learning wasn't as easy as opening YouTube or joining an online forum. Equipment was difficult to find, reliable information was scarce, and most of the lessons came through trial and error. I taught myself the fundamentals before continuing my education through Vastex and countless hours behind the press. Every mistake became another lesson, and every job became another opportunity to improve.
As my experience grew, I found myself drawn to simulated process and complex multicolor printing. Those projects demanded more patience, better artwork, tighter registration, and a deeper understanding of ink and color. They challenged me to become a better printer, and they shaped the way I approach every project today. I never attended a prestigious art school, and I didn't start with a formal background in graphic design. My education came from thousands of hours on press, solving production problems, learning from talented mentors, and working alongside great customers. That real-world experience has become the foundation of everything I create.
Years of printing by hand taught me how every adjustment affects the final result. Moving into automatic production expanded those capabilities, allowing me to deliver the same level of consistency whether producing one shirt or ten thousand.
Today, I continue to create original apparel, solve production challenges, and help bring ideas to life through screen printing, embroidery, artwork, and hands-on experience. Whether I'm creating my own designs or printing for a customer, every project is approached with the same attention to detail and respect for the craft.
