The training with Matt Brandt was one of the best trainings I have attended. Not only did Matt have great communication leading up to training, but I could also tell from his messages that he was as excited for training as I was. The training was so fantastic, I wish I had scheduled for more days. Right away we dove into business, and best practices for growing my business. We discussed focusing on the quadrants that are going to make my business successful and enjoyable. Then we got into the hands on part of the business, and Matt was great about digging into best practices and how to be successful.
One of the things I have struggled with is artwork separations. Matt has a reputation for being great with this. Matt was able to walk me through some of his tips and tricks to get stuff separated. We worked on spot color seps, as well as some SIM process seps. This part of the training was a part that was extremely valuable to me. I would have happily scheduled an extra day of training to just get to learn more about art seps from Matt.
One of the things I found greatly valuable was how Matt had a job to process for a customer and I was able to get live 1 on 1 direction to show me how he processed a 500+ shirt order. In under 5 hours, from making screens to registering the job, printing to catching and sorting. What a valuable experience and boost of confidence to know I can run my shop just as smoothly. The RISO machine was of great help in this process, we were able to make the screens and go from the RISO to the press in under 200 seconds. This was eye opening to me as there was no more emulsion, no more waiting to dry and when the image was burned to screen, the dots we were able to achieve on press I have never seen done before.
The training with Matt was worth every penny spent. Matt was a great host, we worked long hours throughout the training. This was greatly valuable, as I have been to some training where you are scheduled for 8hours, and after 5 you are done for the day. This is not the case with Matt, we put in over 10 hours each day never once did I feel like Matt was rushing any part of the training.

Matt Brandt helped me choose the correct size automatic press for my shop. After talking to many different people, Matt had all the answers to all the questions that I had. He's always available no matter how many questions I have about printing in general.
About a month after getting my new automatic press, I had an issue with it on a Saturday and couldn't get ahold of technical service. Matt helped me diagnose it and get it running and printing that weekend. He even tore his machine apart to walk me through it. I would have lost 2 days of production if he didn't assist me.
He is very knowledgeable about the RISO CTS system I have and has given me advice to get better quality out of it and has done several separations for jobs for me that turned out perfect.

"Having a RISO Machine for screen output put us in an interesting position when it came to training our personnel and running our Anatol Volt Automatic Presses. We met Matt at a trade show and when we realized he too had experience with the RISO CTS technology, we hired him to come to our shop and get us setup.

We hired Matt for a 3 day training session at our shop and each day we learned different aspects of printing and operation of the RISO machine to enhance our production.
